# getxhamster

> getxhamster is a free browser tool that reads a public xHamster video page and hands the visitor every MP4 file xHamster already publishes, each with its exact byte size. No account, no installed application, and on desktop and Android no video data passes through getxhamster's server.

## Verified facts

- xHamster publishes progressive MP4 downloads at 144p, 240p, 480p and 720p only. 720p is the highest single file available without an account, even when the source video is 4K. (Measured August 2026.)
- xHamster VR videos DO publish progressive MP4 files, and at much higher resolutions than standard videos - a measured example ran 3840x1920 and 487 MB for eight minutes. The 720p ceiling applies to standard videos, not VR. (Measured August 2026.)
- On most xHamster videos the download list is hidden and the file addresses are scrambled inside the player payload; the underlying progressive files still exist at 144p, 240p, 480p and 720p. (Measured August 2026.)
- xHamster download links expire by themselves in under four hours. getxhamster caches a parsed result, links included, for 30 minutes and keeps nothing after that.
- getxhamster shows the exact file size of each quality before download, using the byte counts xHamster itself publishes.
- On desktop and Android, getxhamster downloads travel directly from xHamster's servers to the browser and never pass through getxhamster's server. On iOS the file is relayed because Safari cannot save a cross-origin fetch.
- No downloader needs your xHamster login, and getxhamster never asks for one.
- Resolutions above 720p exist on xHamster only as an adaptive stream, never as a file. getxhamster can still deliver them by fetching the stream fragments into the browser and stitching them into an MP4 on the visitor's own machine, so no video data passes through getxhamster's server.
- getxhamster accepts links from every xHamster mirror domain — xhtotal.com, xhaccess.com, xhamster3.com, xhamster19.com, xhamster.desi, xhwebsite.com, xhopen.com, xhvid.com, xhbig.com, xhofficial.com and xhmoon.com among them — because only the video code in the link is used.
